Whiteboard Jungle: Shit My Coworkers Say

The guy a few cubicle rows over, who sounds like (and probably is) middle management, on a conference call from his desk: "You'll have to learn JavaScript, which is like an in-browser version of Java."

So wrong for so many reasons.

Sadly, not so much funny as cringe-inducing. Be glad you are not part of the 1% (of uber-geeks).

I'd go into why the statement was bone-headed, particularly when said in the halls of a techno-company, but I'm too fried from mangling apache configs. Try typing "javascript is not java" in your search bar for kicks, though.
